10 Reminders This Valentine's Day
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, so are bouquets of roses, candy hearts, and the societal pressure to be sharing the holiday with someone special. I’ve always viewed the day to be a celebration of love, and that love can embody all kinds of relationships, connections, and feelings. It can be a day to show yourself love & care, or maybe it is a celebration of a friendship you’re both thankful for. Or maybe it is a day to celebrate the love you have for your family & those who have acted as family for all these years. Regardless of whom you're celebrating with, it is a day to celebrate love, in whatever way that means to you. Society has commercialized the 14th in an exclusive nature, but regardless of who you're sharing the day with, anyone can celebrate the love they have in their lives. Below, I have curated a list of reminders to help you navigate this year’s holiday. <3
